Lesleigh May Hart (born 25th November 1975) is an Australian writer. She suffered from major depression and suicidal ideation in her teens. She received confirmation of her Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy diagnosis at 16 years old.
She has four ongoing novels.
Bedtime Stories for Purple Girls is a collection of short stories which focus on alternate realities, desperation, loss, relationships and revenge.
The Blood is the first book in an erotic horror series, Escape the Grave. It has the central theme of survival amidst the dangers of a vampire coven.
Naked Violet reflects the author’s lived experiences of loss, love and relationships. Historical events are also included.
Whispered Words from a Wicked Mind is a collection of micro fiction with a a supernatural and/or fantasy focus.
She has degrees in journalism and psychology. In her personal life, she is an advocate for survivors of domestic violence and rape.
Hart is the Head Content Writer for the Earnest Writes website. She also writes poetry, prose and feature articles for the online monthly magazine Invincible Quill.
